Why Does Shampoo and washing up liquid not lather up in the colour that they actually are?

Because bubbles are mostly air, and the film of liquid forming the skin of the bubbles is very thin, so the colour doesn't show. When you get a mass of very small bubbles (which is what a lather is) they look white, or possibly even rainbow coloured, because of reflection and refraction off and through the bubbles. Why Does Shampoo and washing up liquid not lather up in the colour that they actually are?
all bubbles are whiteWhy Does Shampoo and washing up liquid not lather up in the colour that they actually are?
You'd need a lot of washing up liquid or shampoo to turn the water the same colour - I would say about 10%. Bubbles are always white because of the light that passes though them.
because the base is the soap which produces White lather
Actually, not all bubbles are white.
