I always get it wrong, it looks right in the store then when I get home it's always too dark, so this time I want to go the the actual counter and ask them to help me! I'm hoping that will mean I get the right colour...
When I go there though, do I need to be wearing no make up? I have horrible horrible skin and I don't wan't to spend the whole day out with no make up!

The best thing to do is go to the store with NO foundation on/powder. Sorry, i hate it too!
your hands or wrists are different colours to your face.
so choose maybe 3 that you fink are close to your skintone, put a tiny bit on your finger, andput a downwards line on your jawline.
The one that disapears the most, is the colour for you.
Or get it done profesionly, in a proper store.
i dont kno where you live but in the UK places like bodyshop, and debhanams do it.

Match it too your wrist or the top of your hand,
get in good lighting if your under the yellow lights in a walgreens, etc it will look matched, the sunlight is really the best way to tell.
And as for you acne get organic face powder it'll keep it cleaner than most cover ups.
