Whats the right foundation colour? ?
i have a pale complexion and a lot of freckles
i was just wondering could anyone recommend a foundation colour
and a good brand.
Whats the right foundation colour? ?
a really good brand for pale skin is TRUE. they have concealer, powder and foundation and compacts. they also carry eye make up. the color will stay on all day and you wont get any creases or lines. :-)
you could try using their Fair colors. they have three shades but all are for very pale skin.Whats the right foundation colour? ?
Go for a pale foundation - match with your skin rather than your freckles.
If you are wanting to go for a foundation that hides your freckles go for one with a matte, flawless, full coverage. But if you still want to see your freckles go for a foundation advertised as 'sheer' or low coverage
Only you can know the right color. The best way to test it is trying to match your face to your neck. Hold your hand palm up. Test the foundation in the crease of your arm till you get the right one. That should be the right color.
I recommend CoverGirl TruBlend.
ivory, nude or natural - pale tones but if it is too pale you can put a pinky blusher on. As for brands, maybelline dream matte mouse is good but you need to use alot of it. Anything maybelline as i think it is a good brand i use it lol
urban decay is gr8.
i have the same kind of skin as you then and i use urban decay illusion, this should be perfect for your skin. ask the assistant at the urban decay counter.
the right colour is one a tiny bit darker than your skin.
hope this helps.
it doesnt really matter the brand except make sure its oil free and i would suggest clinique or neutrogena or i really like the brand jane
i think black or brown

A GOOD POWDER THAT GOES WITH REVLON COLOUR STAY FOUNDATION?!?
Heyyy, im going shopping for make up tomorrow and i lovee revlon colour stay foundation but i need a light powder that's long lasting that goes well with it.. i usually use mineral powder on top but it doesn't last long enough so i need something that lasts all day :)
I'd be like SO grateful if you guys could answer this before tomorrow :P xA GOOD POWDER THAT GOES WITH REVLON COLOUR STAY FOUNDATION?!?
The Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder? Or do you not want to buy that? Physician's formula is good.
And, Revlon tests on animals? Caringconsumer lists them (and a lot of other makeup companies listed on that site) as animal friendly and that they DO NOT test on animals...I guess all the lists are different? I also noticed they have Burt's Bees on the list, and I don't find that likely....I guess it has to do with their use of beeswax?

Revlon carries a colour stay pressed powder;

I belive that Revlon Tests on animals I suggest trying something new
eerm just get a cheap powder, they run out SO fast.
try, rimmel stay matte pressed powder. :)
its cheap, and well obvs makes you look matte! 鈾?br>

A good powder that goes with Revlon's ColorStay Foundation is Revlon's ColorStay Pressed Powder.
Well, im gonna advise you get
ECLAT mineral, mineral RADIANCE pressed powder by bourjois :)
i use it its really good! it lasts me all day, and the little puff you use to put the powder on with smells like roses, and the smell doesn't go away, the smell of mine is lasting forever! and the powder doesnt seem to be going as fast as i would of thought it would, so its also long lasting. it also has a built in mirror inside of it, its very cute.
if your wondering why some of the words are in capitals its because that's what its like on the little tub thingy!
so, i recommend you get it, you can get it in boots or superdrug. its awesome!
it costs around em.... 拢5.99 im guessing, i think i got it for that much in boots.
hope i helped, have a star :D

Differant foundation colour?
iv tried the testers of foundation (light, dark and fare(medium colour) and im lighter than light
what should i useDifferant foundation colour?
Hi the only one that matches my skin tone is from Tesco made by Barabra Daly make up in the oil free foundation in porceline or the Almond shades from avon, every other light colour like ivory is far to orange for me
The tescos is fantastc and so is the avon, I dont buy any from the high street anymore as they only have certain shades yet if you go online they have loads of shades in the same make.
I got a maybelline 16 hour colour stay foundation, in boots they had ivory as the lightest and in superdrug they only had a darker shade as well as other darker shades, I went in to boots to get the ivory it was far to orange I went online and saw they do do a pale one but our shops dont stock it.
So I use avon or tescos barbra daly make up range as it the only colours that are not too orange for my pale skin.Differant foundation colour?
You should always buy your foundation a shade lighter than your natural skin colour, as it tends to absorb oils from your face and turn darker. Try a mineral founation, like L'Oreal or Maybelline. Also you can get a free consultation at the make up counters of the big department stores like Debenhams and House of Fraser. They can point you in the right direction and you can use the info to find something similar that might be more affordable if you don't want to splash out on their brand.
dainty doll do foundations for very pale skin so i would reccomend you try one of them. they are available from asos and jellypongpong.com. choose the fair option if your skin is very light.
http://www.asos.com/Dainty-Doll-By-Nicol鈥?/a>
select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type and the coverage you wish to achieve. the colour should match your skin, disappearing when blended well. shake the bottle well to mix the formula. or, simply open a stick or compact version. place a small amount of foundation on the back of one hand. dip your makeup sponge or your middle finger into it. apply to the center of your face: cheeks, forehead, chin. blend out to your hair and jawline until the foundation vanishes. pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline. set the foundation with loose powder immediately following application.
or foundation can be spot-applied to the areas where you need to even out your skin tone. remember to set your face with loose powder after application.
if you can, i would definately reccomend getting professionally colour-matched at a department store. make sure to check the foundation in natural light though. select a formula that is right for your skin type. people with dry skin should avoid wet/dry and stick foundations. people with oily skin should look for formulations that are oil-free and will need to powder after applying foundation.
another way is to dot foundation onto your face and then blend using a latex sponge. these are quite cheap and can be bought practically anywhere. these sponges allow for a polished, natural look. if you are allergic to latex, try using a natural sea sponge.
remember, foundation does NOT have to be applied all over your face. just target the problem areas. if you blend properly and have a foundation that properly matches your skin tone, you will not look blotchy.
hope this helps
x
You could buy some makeup sponges(triangle ones are best, you can buy them from pound world) and some bright white foundation, which you can get from gothy shops or websites for not that much, and mix it with your normal foundation on the sponge.
go into boots or something and go to the make up selection.
test the loreal mineral true type skin thing and use ne of them
or just use some light powder? it depends also on what your comfortable wearing. Good luck.
i use loreal true match foundation in 'rose ivory'. it's lighter than porcelain.
Try looking for a shade called porcelain =)
Use one that matches your skin tone. If you are pale wear bronzer/blusher for a nice glow.bacteria

Are the MAC Foundation colours correct on the website?
Just checking the website as i can not get to a retail shop. Are the colours of the foundation accurate?
It seems i'd need different colours in different products? Are the MAC Foundation colours correct on the website?
They could be accurate but the colour contrast of your PC may vary giving it different results xAre the MAC Foundation colours correct on the website?
Although this does not directly answer your question - I thought this might help. Foundation is one of the most important elements of a beauty routine and you need to pick out and try the color on in person. Period.
Second, I am a huge fan of Mac, but their foundations are the weakest part of the line. They are thick, heavy, etc ( and although I like full coverage myself) these are meant for runway and no matter what the sales personnel say, they are not meant for everyday wear since they aren't the greatest for the skin. Also, many of the colors have yellow-orange dye in them and can turn orange on pink skin.
I would suggest trying some of these lines (although depending on the your needs you will need to pick and choose the best product for you)
-Prescriptives (awesome foundation)
-Clinique

Yes they are accurate.
MAC Liquid Foundations aren't that good.
They are really heavy and not good for everyday usage.
They also dry out my face a lot if I don't use moisturizer.
The only foundation I like from MAC is there new Mineral Foundation.
It's called MAC Mineralized Loose Foundation with SPF15.
Good Luck! =)
yes...use nc products if you have yellow based skin tone, and nw if you have a pinky based skin tone.

Do intelligent colour foundations work?
I'm tempted to buy No7 Intelligent Colour Foundation as I usually have trouble finding foundations light enough for my skin tone but I don't understand how a foundation can ';adapt to your skin tone'; so does anyone know if they work or not? Or how they work?Do intelligent colour foundations work?
Yes they do,
i have actually had No7 Intelligent colour before, and it blended really well,
i usually have difficulty finding a foundation that matches my skin tone,
and then when i tried that it was perfect,
I don't use it anymore, i still use a No7 one but not Intelligent colour.
But yeah, ive used it, and it works well,
and i have no idea how it works tbh!!

The right foundation colour ?
hey all
my foundation colour is honey, but i was just wondering if soft honey is the same colour as honey lol, also just wondering what powder foundation should i use as i dont have a clue.
thanks for ia helpThe right foundation colour ?
Well it depends on what brand of foundation you are using first off
Like the maybelline pure makeup I am soft Ivory
But another foundation was sandy beige
So it depends on that but the best way to test any foundation is to go to whereever you get your makeup at (walgreens walmart ulta etc)
and put a small squirt of foundation on the back of your hand...blend it in and go outside and look at it in the light...see if it looks lighter, darker or the same as your skin color, it is a pain but it is even more of a pain buying tons of foundations till you find your perfect shade :)The right foundation colour ?
Each brand has their own nos or names of makeup products. what I understand soft honey would be lighter then honey color. You get foundation powder just next to the Foundation. Press powder would be OK. Powder is good for oily skin and makeup stays longer and good for photo shoot.
You can always go to makeup counter in the mall store like macy or any similar or to you your makeup artist and check what color and the kind of product they recommend you. By looking at your skin they will know exactly what you need.
Your pale, red skin tone will make a big difference in what color of foundation, you should buy.
Be really careful when there is a variation such as ';soft'; in front of the foundation color. Sometimes one can turn out to be more pink or yellow based than the other.
If you're looking for a powder foundation I would recommend going to a Clinique counter and asking about their ';Almost Makeup Powder Foundation SPF 15.'; You do not need to use much and it has just as good coverage as a liquid foundation. This is the only stuff that got my to STOP using liquid foundation period after 10 years!
A bonus is if you go to Clinique they will find the right color. If for some reason the color turns out to be wrong you can return it.
Good Luck!
Mark has the Shades of You right now. They help narrow down your search for the right color. Plus if you buy it and it doesn't match you can always ship it back for a full refund. I use the Powder Buff foundation. It is a pressed powder foundation that lets you build your coverage from sheer to full just like a loose mineral but without the mess. It's easier to carry around for touch ups and it keeps my oily skin matte all day.
no-one can tell u what's the right colour for ur face as foundation has to match ur skin perfectly.

Which colour of Loreal True Match Foundation?
I got two testers from Boots the other day, these were vanilla ivory and apricot ivory. I found they were a bit orangey on my skin. Whats the difference between the nude ivory and rose ivory? I'm stuck on which one is best for me.. (i have a slightly pink undertone and freckles - if this helps) Which one is best for disguising both rosy tones and reducing freckless?
Thankss in advancee (: xWhich colour of Loreal True Match Foundation?

Are there any colour foundations that I could use for my skin tone?
I'm oriental asian from indonesia and have light skin, i want to get tanned this summer but I don't want to look orange. every time I go in the sun, i never get tanned enough, so any one know any foundation tones or fake tans for my colour. my skin is light brown thanksAre there any colour foundations that I could use for my skin tone?
benefit some kinda gorgeous is fab!! it blends into EVERY skintone really well. also, use a bronzer to look sunkissed.
=]Are there any colour foundations that I could use for my skin tone?
Mac do a good body and face foundation.
Good luck
Have you tried Clarins self tan ? I am past white, almost transulcent, and the Clarins self tan is the only one that makes me look beige (my equivalent of a tan)....you are right most make one look orange...the other things I use are the Gurlain terracotta powders, they do one that is for fairer skins...it has a bit of pink in it - and varying shades of beige and brown, it doesn't go on too orange...pricey but does last a long time. Gurlain do, do some very orange and dark brown ones so make sure you get the right one....
Lastly in the summer I use a Bobby Brown blusher called ';blushed'; it gives the look of just being in the sun, it's not orange, but on my skin tone, goes on as if I have just been in the sun, it is more of a delicate red...I know red sounds horrendous but it is a hard colour to describe....
But there will be new products out for summer soon, maybe some of the new ones will cater for fairer complexions...
Good luck and happy shopping.
A bronzer is always good. There is lotion by Jergens called natural glow that can help you attain a natural tan. It is safe easy. Hope this helps.... Have a Great Day!!!!!
Loreal have a range named ';true match'; and the foundation blends perfectly with your natural skin tone, it comes in a variety of shades, i think its 拢8.99. Vx

RIHANNA MAC powder foundation colour?
Does anyone know what colour Rihanna's MAC foundation powder colour is?? I want to compare her colour to mine - don't even ask! Can anyone help?
CHeersRIHANNA MAC powder foundation colour?
its really hard to tell what her color is just by looking at pictures for a few reasons 1] the pictures are enhanced, 2] the lighting in the pictures are really bright therefore altering her skin color.
for some color suggestions, go to your MAC counter and ask to have your color tested and test it against a color that looks like hers.

the good is that it will last through anything. the bad is that it is hard to blend because it dries really fast and once it starts to dry it's won't budge so applying it naturla takes practice,.Is the revlon colour stay foundation any good?
Its good if you have oily skin

Can you exchange foundation in Boots if it's the wrong colour?
A few days ago I bought some Dream Matte Mouse in Nude. Now it looks too pale for my skin :S
Will they let me exchange it for another one in a darker shade after using some?
Thanks :)Can you exchange foundation in Boots if it's the wrong colour?
No they wont, i tried with a 17 foundation and they wouldnt return it :(:(!Can you exchange foundation in Boots if it's the wrong colour?
no probably not, they'll probably say you should have used the tester-although i find those kinda pointless, seeing as the light inside the store is different to sunlight,so you can't always tell if you're buying the right colour...and try it to exchange it anyway, some sales assistantes are really nice and will do it anyway, there's no harm in asking, they're not going to say more than no....
oh and just btw:i've tried the Dream Matte Mousse and i felt it kinda blocked my pores, but maybe ur different.......
well. it all depends on who and how much you used..
does it look like you have used it much??
as for health hygiene reasons they prob wont but you could go and say omg my husband/partner / best pal brought me this but it is totally the wrong colour.
you never know they may take pity and exchange ..x god luck you do not know unless you try.
Nope, you can't exchange makeup even if you haven't opened it, so you are gonna have to buy another one!
No, only if you are allergic to it (in which case you might get a refund or exchange) %26amp; not if you have opened it.
no i don't think they will let you for hygienic reasons and such :/.
but you could try though (:

Which Foundation Colour do i Need?
Also Which make-up should i wear !!!!!Which Foundation Colour do i Need?
You're really pretty, you don't need foundation.
But if you really do, which brand would you like?
From Covergirl, you would probably be a Medium Beige.
Test the foundation on the back of your hand. It should blend in perfectly so you can't see any lines.
For this foundation http://thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/p鈥?/a>
you would probably be 08 or 10Which Foundation Colour do i Need?
ur pretty you dont need any makeup:)
Anyone who attempts to tell you what color foundation you need who is not in front of you at the time is going to get it wrong. My best suggestion is to go to the mall cosmetic counter and let one of counter people help you. They will do it at no charge to you but it would be nice to be prepared to buy at least a lipstick. I'm guessing your young so you need to bring your mom if your under 18. Take the colors they put on you and if you aren't prepared to spend the money on Clinique then go look at similar colors at walmart. Another option is to contact your local Mary Kay rep(go to the website they will hook you up with someone local) Again I'm thinking your young so have your mom call and set up your appointment. It can be your mom and you getting a makeover together or your friends having a party. When your finished you will have colors that look great on you and you will now how to properly apply your makeup.bacteria

What colour foundation would suit me best?
I really don't know much about make-up and anytime I have anyone do it, even professionally, I always come out looking monochromatic and dull or powdery. I have graduation coming up and am having a professional photographer take some pictures of me around the school and I just want to look my best.
http://a729.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/ima鈥?/a>
This is actually one of the best pictures I have:-(What colour foundation would suit me best?
I would go to the local mall and get matched up. Make sure you get a light coverage powder. Your skin is beautiful and you don't need coverage just something to make you look more polished. Try Clinique (you should be a honey brown or caramel complexion)What colour foundation would suit me best?
your probably a dark chocolate... its hard to convert it depends on the brand of the product. but dont go any lighter than caramel
You complexion is really nice;
even though I don't do foundation, A nice deep color would suit you
Even a light olive, if you apply it in the right areas.
I prefer a powdered foundation though, that way it washes off easy, doesn't clog your pores, and you'll get better coverage even with lighter shades.
Good luck!
havent seen your pic.
but best way to choose a foundation
is to try a bit of it on your wrest not the back but just under ur fest because this is the place where is supposed to be ur true skin color
if after trying u didnt see a color on ur hand then it's the one for you
you have the best prom eva
and good luck
if you don't want to look dull don't use powder foundation. I only buy Marykay.600 is a great color. use natural colors. coco lipliner and lite brown color lipstick. you are a beautiful girl so you don't need alot. best of luck email with more question.
If you live close to a Bare Escentuals boutique (or even a Sephora) I would set up an appointment with a knowledgable artist who can help you find the exact shade/base for you. You won't regret a consultation -- and the best part is, they're at no cost to you!

yeah i would say fair beige cause it seems to suite u best umm but now when in some lights u may want to go darker or lighter just a touch... cause with sun and everything it seems to wash people out... i always buy the lightest i can go and then the next one up and blend it together to make a medium between the two... good luckWhat colour foundation should I get?(Pics)?
Fair beige!
Its better to go lighter than darker... If its a little too light you can just use a bronzer on your cheeks and temples so you don't look washed out. (If its too dark you look really unatural and have a makeup line around your face)
I've bought mineral foundation online before..and it seems that the pictures they show of the colors are usually a little darker online then in reality.
really, you should stay away from foundation, it causes acne, and dry skin, and rashes
i have the same type of skin color, and i use a bobby brown bronzer, and load it up so i look tan-er, and put it on your neck and chest, not just your face
and i use a mac pink blush, so it gives me rosy cheek bones,
when using blush, you have to follow it all the way back to your hair line
dont know where to put it?? click that

GETTIN THE RIGHT COLOUR FOUNDATION?
welll....
im 1/4 jamcain and im not fully white i have a tanness too me
i have tryed loads of cheap foundations like dream matt mouse and that but they are not the wright colour
i got soo fustrated i went to a dior counter where she tested the foundation to my colour skin but its still the wrong colour its so orange
i dunno what do to now because everyone else seems to have the wright colour foundation even if they are black or white but i cant seem to get it and i have a real bad foundation line i just want it to be the right colour what can i do ?GETTIN THE RIGHT COLOUR FOUNDATION?
Just go to boots or wherever you go to get your make up and try all the different foundations. If you put a blob on the back of your hand and rub it in and you can't see it at all, thats your colour.
Mac is good.GETTIN THE RIGHT COLOUR FOUNDATION?
i had a similar problem. I think you should go to a sephora, mac or a makeup store you like. Sometimes expensive makeup is not always worth it but for foundation i think it is. Have you tried bare minerals? They have a very wide range of colors. I would also ask for samples of all different brands and colors so that you do not have to waste money if you dont like the product. Hope i helped!! good luck
My face is far redder than the rest of my body, so I went to M*A*C and the artist actually found a color that was the match to my neck and chest that toned the red down. I'll never use anything else!
Do you have a MAC by you? I'd give them a shot you won't be sorry.
Go to Sephora. They can help you. They have so much foundations, one of them should match your skin color.bacteria

Does anyone use the Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation???
I was thinking of getting it, as apparantely it covers blemishes well. At the moment I use a foundation that makes me look rather pale and I dont really like that look, but my friend suggested that I get the 'golden' shade of the Max Factor foundation, as It will make my skin look slightly tanned. I have kinda pale skin, but not as pale as ivory, so should I get golden?
Please help!Does anyone use the Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation???
I Use It,
I Wouldnt Go For A Shade That Is A Few Shades Darker Then Your Natural Skin Tone,
Your Face Will Look Orange And It Wont Blend With Your Neck Very Well.
You Should Go For Maxfactor MiracleTouch Foundation.
It Is A Lot Better Than The Colour Adapt And You Can Add A Bronzer On Top To Give Your Face More Of A golden Glow.Does anyone use the Max Factor Colour Adapt foundation???
you should never get a make up shade that is darker than your original skin colour. that will only look like fake tan, and if it is uneven it will look even worse.
what you can do is go to a shop, not wearing make up, and use a bit of the 'golden' shade from the tester - so you'll see if it looks good.
I always wanted to try Colour Adapt, but they don't have the right shade for me - my skin is about Maybelline's Rose Ivory (very light) and most brands don't have such a light tone :-(
I recommend you a Mineral Make up - they don't cause breakouts and they cover pretty good.
Roxy, while I don't have any experience w/the brand you mention, I do have experience w/aularale.com/7002; and my suggestion is to get a good skin care regimen going to rid yourself of blemishes/imperfections rather than worrying about covering them. The vitamin c serum and the fade gel work wonders. The foundation is fantastic as it matches the undertones in your skin and sometimes you can wear up to 3 different shades (depending on what look you're trying to achieve). In addition to a good skin care regimen, eat lots of fruits and veggies, drink lots of water and take a good vitamin/mineral supplement. You'll see results quickly.
What you need to do is find out which one matches absolutely best with your skin tone. That will take some trial and error. You need to test it by swiping a small bit on your lower cheek, above your jaw bone. Blend it in, and look at it in natural light. You can do this with several shades side-by-side. Whichever one vanishes into your skin is the one for you. Too light is bad, but so is too dark. You want one that matches perfectly.
No it doesn't cover blemishes well. They say it does but they would, wouldn't they?
Golden is not quite right. It's more orange, like a satsuma.
I think you look lovely just as Nature made you.

Hi I really like the mousse foundations and concealers and I need a new one soon, which one do you think is better?

No7 i heard the maybelline one isnt that good. or u cld just go to a boots or cosmetics counter if your not too sure and see what they come up with you might even find a different one from the two.
i would soooo reccomend the No7 intelligent colour balance mousse it's waaay better than dream matte mousse
but i also would say try something light for the summer
hope this helps xxx
definitely the no 7 one, dream matte mousse gives you spots, but if you've got oily skin I wouldn't go for either of them :)
Go into boots and ask to test the No7.

Which colour foundation?
i need a new foundation and im thinking of getting max factor minerals but how do i know what is the best colour for mrWhich colour foundation?
go into boots and get the tester. Put a little bit on the palm of your hand where your thumb joins- the little chubby bit- and blend then go out into the light and see if its ok. Try a couple of different shades around your skin tone...This is ther beat place to try it out cuz of all the creases and if it blends in then its the rite 1Which colour foundation?
it's best to go into the shop, try the tester on a patch on your chin that's clean of make-up and then go outside and look in natural light, that way you can see if it's too light or too dark. although some people say it is better to be a bit darker than skin tone than lighter.
test it on your skin first. put it on a patch of your face that has no makeup and rubn it in. go outside and see if it works for you (=
Put a patch of the tester on your jaw line and blend slightly..if it seems to have disappeared then that's the right colour for you :]
If you go in any boots shop they will test on your skin to determine what colour foundation.

What colour foundation?
every time i buy foundation it never seems to be the right one!
and i dont know what colour eyeshadow would be right for me, plus should i wear eyeliner or not?
Heres a picture of me to see if you can help, thanks :)
http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j316/s鈥?/a>What colour foundation?
you should try using light brown and see if it works and wear silver eye shadows it stands out on your skinWhat colour foundation?
loreal true match press powder is a good foundation.go for neutral colour it will be good for u.
always wear the eyeshadow according to ur clothes.for example if Ur r wearing pink and purple clothes choose pink shade for ur eyes.for black and brown clothes go for any shade of brown.
i think eyeliner does not suits u.
hope u like my advice i am a makeup artist.
Go to a beauty counter at Sephora or something like that and they will be able to help you, cause a photograph is not exactly accurate, esp. over the computer.
u should go 2 macys or wherever they have a MAC counter and have them match u,they have so many shades 2 choose from i used 2 have such a hard time finding the right shade but the first time i went 2 get matched they gave me the perfect foundation it matched my skin tone and everything which i was very surprised b/c usually the foundation ive tried is 2 pale or 2 orangey but not MAC they have so many shades 2 choose from im sure you'll be able 2 find the perfect shade, and 4 ur eyes i think u should wear maybe some eyeliner in brown or black black may be 2 harsh but is u ask the mac makeup artist she will try on both brown and black and u can see which 1 looks better and i dont think u need eyeshadow that would be a little 2 much
Purple...that is what you need. And maybe some stickers of little ducks...
i think you look fine without makeup! m
Go to Clinique and have them match up the foundation to you're skin tone...they are a little more expensive but if you buy foundation on the day's they're having their deals and giveaway's... you can get an awesome gift bag with it you're foundation. (mascara, makeup bag, makeup remover, eyeshadow, eye cream, etc., etc.,)
I think you can wear eyeliner, but you look like you have small eyes so I would only put it on the outside corners of your eyes, (it'll make you're eyes appear bigger)and maybe rub it in a little...(or you don't have to... depends how, ';eyeliner-y'; looking you want it)
I can't really tell by you're picture but I think you would look good in a shimmery dark grey eye-shadow, and shimmery white eye shadow.
But, you look very pretty already without makeup, so I wouldn't fret too much.
get almay exact shade...it works great.
The age old trick of applying a little dab of foundation to the inside of your wrist to test the color has alsways worked for me. Also, there are powders you can apply over your foundation to help match the tones.
Trial and error my friend.
From your picture, natural colors would work best for you....tans, greens, browns, golds. It also depends on what you are wearing.
Because I have a really light complexion, I use 2 -3 different colors. A base applied from lid to brow, sparkly whites or light bronzes. Then I choose a color that matches a color I am wearing, which I apply to my lid only. Finally, I take a blush brush and lightly blend the colors with a few swipes from the bridge of my nose out to my temples.
It looks like you have eyeliner on in that pic. Try using browns and blues for eye pencils. Purple could also look nice.
GO WITH BLUE...DEFINATELY BLUE...BLUE ALL THE WAY BABY...BUT THEN IM A GUY AND I DONT KNOW HOW I GOT ON THIS MAKE UP QUESTION..MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST IGNORE ME..
and i dont know what colour eyeshadow would be right for me, plus should i wear eyeliner or not?
How often should you get your colour matched by a pro. when buying foundation?
eg: in december i got matched and have been buying that foundation until now --being almost march. is it time to get matched again??/
o ya if this helps i live in canadaHow often should you get your colour matched by a pro. when buying foundation?
When you buy a different type of foundation and every time the season changes. How often should you get your colour matched by a pro. when buying foundation?
i have never used a pro to match foundation
what i do is find the closest foundation match then take a tiny bit from the bottle to see if it matches my skin
Yes you could if you think your skin tone has changed. But I would wait until mid march or maybe mid year but it is a good time to now.
HI FIVE i live in canada too
:PP
umm. idk. yea u should go and then u should go again in like summer when u get a tan
ew it's soo cold here

I have got the wrong colour foundation????
i went superdrugs yesterday and bourght dream satin liquid foundation and when i tested it in the store it was perfect and when i got home i put it on and it was dark.............
can i give it back??????????????????
p.s i know i have already asked this question before........
tanx in advance
xxxxxxxI have got the wrong colour foundation????
Take it back and say it caused a reaction as long as you have your receipt they should give you your money back !!I have got the wrong colour foundation????
the store should except exchanges, since you aren't refunding the product.. if they wont i would write to company and tell them your story.. tell them you need a different color as the one you have doesn't match correctly.
It was probably the lighting in the store that made the foundation look like it was a match for your skin tone. I'm sure if you went back to the shop they would refund it hopefully!
Easy go to mac they have this cream that you can mix with your foundation to make it look your color
hmm
if the store donot refund it ..try to sell it on ebay or gumtree :)bacteria

What colour/type of foundation liquid/cream/powder will match my skin?_?
my skin tone-

You really can't determine the shade of make-up required by using a picture on the computer because there are too many variables. Lighting in the room the picture was in, the type of flash on the camera (if used) and even the setting on the computer monitor of the person who is viewing the picture can make your skin shade completely different.
What I would recommend doing it going to a store like Ulta or Sephora (if you have them in your town) where the employees could best help you figure out your skin shade. My own personal favorite type of make up is Bare Escentuals, but you may have a different preference. By going to the stores I listed, you can actually try out the products before you purchase them.

If you're good at selecting the right colour of foundation, pleaseee help meee!!!!?
Hi, I usually use Maybelleine's makeup because it's the only brand that I'm 100% sure I know my right colour. With Maybelleine, I'm honey beige.
I want to get a new foundation though, like Revlon Colourstay or L'Oreal Tru Match (which is better?).
Can you guys tell what would be my colour in Revlon and L'Oreal? I really need help...thankss a lot everybody!!If you're good at selecting the right colour of foundation, pleaseee help meee!!!!?
If your not sure then have a test with the colours in the store but if you don't want to do that then Revlon sells a product called Beyond Natural Foundation which applys white and as you rub it onto the skin or brush onto the skin it changes to your natural skin tone.If you're good at selecting the right colour of foundation, pleaseee help meee!!!!?
did you really have to post the same question multiple times?
If you are at the drug store pick up the maybelline foundation that you use and compare it to the other brand's foundations. Make sure they are both in the same color family.
Just use the colour which is pretty much the same as ur natural skin colour. Because say if u had quite pale skin and you bought dark foundation it would look wierd. lol. Hope i helped. xx

sort out your spelling before your image.
Loreal's Feel Naturale Light Softening One Step Makeup is your best bet. It's usually on the very bottom shelf at Wal-Mart.
I am very pale so I use Soft Ivory.
Here's a link to the Loreal site for more product info:

I'm pale as well, and I've tried everything! The only ones that didn't make me go orange:
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Porcelain.
Maybelline Wonder Finish Powder Finish Foundation in Porcelain.
Revlon Custom Creations Foundation in Light.
Revlon is about $25-35, but I'm using it right now and it's perfect. The Maybelline Matte made my skin look flawless, but after a while it flaked. Maybelline Wonder Finish is probably the right one for you out of the three (money-wise!) x
You are quite young to be needing foundation but if you must why not go to the make up counter and ask for some samples. If you go to the Clinique counter they will give you lots of different ones to try and also will try to match up your skin tone for you. Tell them you don't want to buy just yet as you don't want to waste any money on the wrong ones. There are also some new ones (Boots do one) that adjusts to you own skin tone. Don't be afraid to go and ask for samples, that's what they are there for. Good luck!
Hi, I suggest that you look for an Ivory Beige tone. You can use Bare minerals for instance. check them out...
As you're 13 you should have very good skin, and are probably not in need of a full coverage foundation. Why don't you try a tinted moisturizer? the colour is not easy to get wrong either.
If you do feel like you need a foundation, make sure it's oil-free, otherwise it can cause break outs. For testing your colour, always put the foundation along your jaw, if it blends in, you have the perfect colour. Don't hesitate to bring a friend with you, or your mom, try the foundation and go outside the shop to see the color in natural light. Artificial store lights are never a good indicator for color!
If you need brands to look at, try revlon. They have brought out a new foundation that you twist to mix 2 shades of foundation to get the perfect match. Or max factor have 'intelligent color foundation' where it literally adapts to your skin tone.
Hope this helps!
The best foundation you can get!
I have been using it for almost 3 years now. It covers any scars or acne marks on your skin.
It doesn't leave orange marks and it makes you look flawless..
It's 拢10.80 but it's 3 for the price of 2.

Has anyone tried Lancome Colour Ideal Foundation? does it make face oily or shiny?
I haven't, but I've seen it on a friend, it didn't look bad on her, but I'm sure you could test it on your own face to check if it suits you or not.bacteria
Is Foundation Suppose To be Lighter Or Darker Than Your Skin Colour?
I bought the Revlon colourstay foundation,
But It didnt match my skin colour, it was too white :S
So, i wanted to know If Your foundation doesnt match your skin colour, is it better to have the foundation Lighter or darker than your skin colour? Is Foundation Suppose To be Lighter Or Darker Than Your Skin Colour?
lighter. That way it doesn't look like your trying to be tan and end up looking ';fake'; with an orange face. That's a great kind of foundation though. Maybe you could fix it by applying a little bronzer and blush. Is Foundation Suppose To be Lighter Or Darker Than Your Skin Colour?
well, I don't wear foundation, but almost all of my friends do. Lighter is the way to go!! If you go darker, it doesn't look like your natural skin tone, and then it looks like you're trying to hard to cover up your skin. I go to school with girl who go with the darker foundation and they're always getting talked about behind their backs about how fake they look. It only works for a handful of girls to wear a darker foundation.
well to be honest its meant to be the same colour as your skin. for coverage. but in my opinion id rather have it lighter because i just recently bought some maybelline foundation and the mirror i was looking in at the shop was really bad and i ended up buying a colour that was orange on my face (: so im going back tommorrow to buy a lighter colour. so you just have to be thorough with it and not just pick any colour (:
well its best to get it the same color but it could be a tad lighter never let it be darker yourwill look like frankenstein just set your makeup with powder and makesure you blend ALOTT it works trust me my mom always buys me the wrong coverup but that doesnt stop me from at leadt trying to look natural but once she bought a really dark color and everyone thought i had a tan so just remember to blend blend blend!! i hope that helps ^_^ toodles ^_^
i buy one lighter and draker than what i think my skin color is, i am a makeup artist and i us the darker for summer and for contoring certain areas like under cheekbones.
lighter for summer and alway could double as a concealer since it is lighter than your skin, and skipping a step is always nice to make it faster:)
hope i helped:)
one that looks good on your tone, but is darker. Set with a Powder that is a bit lighter (but not by much!) .. and VOILA (sp) ... you have your perfect color.
Thats my secret at least. some do it oposite, but i found that the lighter powder looks better... some just use the darker liquid and use a blush thats a light pink...
try it out at the store next time on your wrist is a better place... youll get it after some practice
Well foundation should be your exact skin tone, if you have the right one.
Try switching companies, or buying one thats darker and mixing the 2.
Although if the foundation matched the color of your neck or your inner forearm then its your color
ugh i use to have that problem too, well actually it's hard to find the right shade your own color so i perfer using a darker color but not too dark that you can tottaly see that it's not your color at all :)
definitely lighter, [even though it should really match perfectly]. if it's darker you'll look so fake and it'll look bad :p
Lighter, definitely lighter. If it's too dark, you'll look like someone who has applied too much fake tan to the face.
I usually end up beginning on sale and using tons products. Do what fits your situation and I bet your instinct will be best.
slightly ligher but really you want one that matches your skin tone.

What colour foundation?? is my advice right??
hi i have been told to buy a foundation which is almost identical to my skin colour because foundation should never be seen so to buy one which is my skins colour. However, my skin is very pale and greyish so i brought a couple of foundations in my skin tone/colour but i just look like a pale goth so i brought some darker ones but they looked too orange i dont think my skin tone matches any :(
what should i do??What colour foundation?? is my advice right??
You are not trying to block out your entire face when using a foundation...just use one with light coverage and then use a concealer to hide places where you are needing a little extra coverage...
Also only apply makeup in the center of you face and blend outward-you should never apply foundation to your jawline unless you are going for the mask look
The fact that you are seeing orange tells me one of two things...you are either not exfoliating and the proteins in the dead skin will turn foundation orange...or...you are using the wrong color...hold up a couple bottles of foundation wherever it is that you buy foundation...you should see a pink undertone, a yellow undertone or a brownish or what we call neutral undertone...you are most likely needing the neutral undertone...if you cannot tell the difference, head over to your cosmetic counter and cough up a few extra bucks to get matched to a quality foundation and then you won't keep wasting your money buying the wrong thingWhat colour foundation?? is my advice right??
it really sounds like you have a cool complexion. and if so, you do want to stay in proper color group. you can be pale and still ';fake'; a healthy looking summery glow.
apply the make-up that matches your complexion best, set the make-up with powder, and then apply a rosy colored blush to your cheeks using a good blush brush, then get just a touch more blush on the brush and apply a little to the tip of your nose, but be careful not to get too much, you're just trying to glow, not shine. and apply a little of the blush to your temples where the sun would naturally hit you. what you should see is a natural, healthy glow. and if you really want to step things up, you can use a bronzing powder and put it in the same places that you did the blush, tip of nose, and temples. you can also buy a bronzer that's light enough to be dusted all over your face, like Physicians Formula bronzing powder, they have a bunch of different colors to choose from. and if you get too much on your face and feel that it looks a little darker than your neck, just put some on your neck so that your face and neck blend. that's what I do myself, and I have tons of compliments and people tell me all the time how beautiful they think my skin is, and how it just has such a healthy glow. I don't ever tell them it's bronzing powder! but I apply it on my face and my neck.
you should give it a try. and remember practice makes perfect. you may not get it just the way you want it to look the first time you try it, but just keep working with it until you do get the glow that you want.
Best Wishes! I know you can do it!
Hmmm
If you're not happy with your pale skin, then try going for moisturizers that are kind of bronzers in them. Here:
http://www.stilacosmetics.com/shop/produ鈥?/a>
it may be too dark.. so id suggest one of those ones that make you darker with more use (neutrogena ones).
However, I wouldnt go too dark. Girls who look orange when they have fake tans are not meant to be that dark.. obviously. So, just try and use these self tanners.
Otherwise, just dont go too dark. Youre light for a reason!
Start with a clean, well moisturized face. Try mixing the darker shades with the lighter ones on your hand. Then either use a damp sponge or your fingers to apply foundation to your face. Use blush to bring out color in your face! Also, for long-term, use sunless tanners- such as Neutrogena's Summer Glow or Dove's Energy Glow, as they might help bring some natural color and a healthy glow to your skin and oust that greyish cast to your skin tone! If neither of these help, or you need immediate help, try asking a beauty consultant at a department store or Ulta (my personal favourite) as the people there are extremely helpful and will answer all your questions and even show you neat tricks free of charge and without any pressure to buy any products. Hope this helps :)
what should i do??What colour foundation?? is my advice right??
You are not trying to block out your entire face when using a foundation...just use one with light coverage and then use a concealer to hide places where you are needing a little extra coverage...
Also only apply makeup in the center of you face and blend outward-you should never apply foundation to your jawline unless you are going for the mask look

Plz help. what colour foundation is suitable for me?
something in the ivory shade or tan shade? if possible if u have any recommendation on the foundation name as well as the specific colour??
u can also see my 360 profile
plz dont slam about how ugly i look. i just want to get an opinion on the correct shade coz somehow i find sales person arent that helpful enough..
thanks!Plz help. what colour foundation is suitable for me?
I think ivory. Cause I can see from the picture, you're skin is very light. You have a nice creamy complexion.
But do you really think that you need foundation? If my skin was that nice, I don't think I would cover it up with foundation at all.
Just protection against sun damage, for the future. Probably you're veil already does that.
So how about a little eye makeup, mascara, and shadow, to bring them out, some.
And a nice lipstick. Let the girl at the counter pick the shade for you, if you can get a make-up demonstration.
They can really be fun. But, remember, the person who holds the purse strings is you. She can show you all of it, but you can just buy want ya want.
The drug store has the exact copies! Almost. And sometimes they work even better.Plz help. what colour foundation is suitable for me?
First, your are not ugly. Honestly, because I'm Black, I don't trust drugstore makeup. The color is never right. I would go to a department store, where the salesperson can help you match your skin tone perfectly. Not only will you get the right tone, it will have the best finish--maybe you don't want anything shiny or too thick. The salesperson will help you. The cost of Clinique is just a few dollars more and it won't cause your skin to break out. I think I spend about 13 dollars on Clinique, but it's 13 dollars not wasted. I'm able to use the product because I already tried it out before I bought it.
i use cover girl i can't remember the name and its really good its a liquid and its way better than powder
I had the same problem and I went to Prescriptives. They can be found in any Macy's type store at the mall and they can make your own perfect shade of foundation. I tell you this because I have tried going to a regular store and doing the matching myself but it never works and you just end up wasting money. The second best place to go is to MAC they can usually be found in any mall as well.
Check out mineral vale, the kit comes with two foundation powders (so if one isn't the perfect match you can mix them) and they send a bronzer that you can tone down with the foundations. You have that porcelain skin (just like my sister) so try the lightest color they have, mines so sallow (very yellow) check out the site.
Joann PS and your not ugly, silly girl.

How do you properly put make-up on and how do u noe wat colour skin tone u should use 4 foundation?
alot of ppl mix up their skin tone and get a darker or lighter shade of foundation or concealerHow do you properly put make-up on and how do u noe wat colour skin tone u should use 4 foundation?
i've got a nvq in beauty therapy and the way that we do it in the industry is by trying it on the jaw bone, down to the neck slightly. if it blends well, then it's the right one. don't try it on your wrist, as a lot of people have darker arms/wrists than their face due to more exposure to the sun. if you want your face to look slightly more tanned, then don't go for a darker foundation (it's a mistake sooo many people do - but it just makes you orange instead), just get a suitable foundation that matches your skin and buy some bronzing pearlsHow do you properly put make-up on and how do u noe wat colour skin tone u should use 4 foundation?
for foundation match it to your wrist,if it blends good and don't look to dark it's the one you should choose.
you can go to rite aid or another store that has a return policy..if the shade doesn't match, return it for somehting that does :)
try it on your wrist if its dark don't head for it . also don't get ones which look heavy on you

Is there only one brand of foundation that will match your skin colour?
no, there are so many diff companies that will have colors which match your skin. but then theres some skin tones in whichyou cant find the right color at all. you should expirement. Is there only one brand of foundation that will match your skin colour?
mac and chanelIs there only one brand of foundation that will match your skin colour?
by 'brand' do you mean 'tone?'
TONE:
YES or between 2.
Some people are in between tones, so can choose the one closest (lighter or darker, depending on if worn in the evening - artificial light, or day wear in daylight.)
The tones grade up from light to dark, and cater for the *four skin types and some ethnic.
The base tone deep in skin: (some people are more than one.)
1) Winter: often very pale (suits cool colours)
2) Spring: often creamy pale (suits pastel, warm)
3) Autumn: often amber hue (suits autumn range)
4) Summer: tanned, olive or warm pale (suits primary and bright colours)
BRAND:
NO.There are many brands to choose from. Similar tones.
Different brands do have different finishes from matt (powdery) satin (between matt and gloss) to gloss (shiny) or even glittery. Different brands different names/discriptions.
Some companies are more realistic, natural and better finish. Some can look nasty (eg: orange) It pays to sample on your own skin, in different lights, before you buy. We are all different.bacteria

hmm that probably is a hard color to find since its so light. i would check out the makeup forever hd foundation (you can get it at sephora), and the lightest color is right around there i believe. that is actually the only one ive seen that has a color that light.
xox, bella :)
Go to your local MAC counter and ask them. They'll try it out on you and recommend one for your pale colour.
If not MAC, you can go to pretty much any department store and ask one of the sales assistants for help. Don't buy online because it might not be a perfect match.
Good Luck :)

Wud it look silly 2 wear tan on ur face in winter am quite pale or shud i jus use a beige colour foundation?
no u can tan just use it lil bit so u still have a natural light tan..thats what i do and i'm very fair skinWud it look silly 2 wear tan on ur face in winter am quite pale or shud i jus use a beige colour foundation?
Yeah, tans look silly all year round. They just make you look well... gross. Personally everytime I see someone who goes to tanning beds, uses spray on tans, and those creams all I can think is ';wow you actually think gross fried skin is sexy?'; Your natural skintone is what looks good on you, it goes nice with your hair and eye colour. Just stick with what you got. Even if it's ridiculously pale it'll still look great.Wud it look silly 2 wear tan on ur face in winter am quite pale or shud i jus use a beige colour foundation?
A very light tan to give your skin a bit of a boost would look nice :) Or else you could just apply your normal foundation colour (cos you don't want an orange face and white neck) and apply a light bronzer over the apples of your cheeks, along your forehead, down your nose and a little on the chin which I find gives your face a lovely glow :) x
can I just say...
unless your complexion is sickly... don't feel bad about being pale.
some people, myself included, think pale, fair skinned people are very attractive. Fake tans, or make-up to look darker, or bronze, or whatever they call it look bad.
Most look un-even and utterly fake, or give you an ';orange'; look. ...bad all around.
pale is beautiful. white or fair skin... is like fine sculpture. Shouldn't be afraid to be a bit pale. this idea that everyone has to look like they just came from the beach is absurd.
If you didn't want to wear fake tan then maybe you could try some tinted moisturiser or you could try using a bronzer which will make your face look slightly browner without looking too OTT.
I think a light tan wont be too bad but dont over do it
dont use a foundation that doesnt match your skin because that will look bad
go tanning i go tanning in the winter just not to much so i dont look to bad
I mix of fake tan with my foundation so its not so tanned for winter but natural! x

I have a pale complexion, like white white. What colour foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss should i use
You should have you foundation matched if you are pale plae an ivory 100 should work and then stick with pale colors pinks, light browns things like that
go to www.marykay.com and you can do a makeover. it will ask you your hair color eye color skin color ect.. and then it will tell you what colors look best on you
i hope i have helped you if you have any other questions or would like some free mary kay samples feel free to e mail me at
rob_jonda@yahoo.comI have a pale complexion, like white white. What colour foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss should i use
i have pale colouring too. test foundation on the back of your hand to check it matches you want to get one as close as posible to your skin tone, choose a rosy coloured blush but make sure its sublitle dont apply to much. brown or neutral colour eye shades and either clear lip gloss or one with a very subtile hint of pink.I have a pale complexion, like white white. What colour foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss should i use
if u are that pale, u might want to consider using a Translucent powder for shine, and a Bronzer for creating the illusion of color. u put it in the highlighted areas of ur face, like the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. then u can put a light dusting (of stain) of blush on ur cheekbones. that will also give u much more color. but don't go too dark as it will contrast w/ ur light skin. try Benefit Benetint, it's a stain that u brush a small amount on ur cheeks and just blend in w/ ur fingers. u can use any color eyeshadow as long as it is complementary ur eyes.. ur safest bet is a pastel lavendar, or a tan/light brown and then a darker version of the color for the crease, to create Depth. i suggest eyeliner to emphasis the lash line, as well as Mascara. as for lip gloss, u can never go wrong w/ pinks.... i like orchid pinks right now but the trend seems to be melons and peaches .... don't worry just practice. if u want, try going to www.eyeslipsface.com, everything is $1 and im sure i'ts good for practicing on urself.
It also depends on the color of your eyes and hair.
When buying a foundation try to find a shade that matches your neck. You really just want to use the foundation to give your skin an even tone and hide blemishes, don't try to re-color your skin. Same thing goes for the blush find a shade that looks natural on you. With the eye shadow and lip gloss experiment with different colors but with a fair complexion I wouldn't go with anything that creates too much of a contrast. Make-up should be used to enhance your beauty. When you wear too much or use it to create something that you are not you end up looking like fictional cartoon character.

Get a foundation that is the same colour as your skin. Go to a department store and get someone at the beauty section to find you colours that suit. It's totally worth it!!
match the foundation, pale pink blusher - not red or you'll look like father xmas - v.festive. wear pale eyeshadows that go with your eyes and a pink glossy lipgloss
I have strawberry blonde hair and green eyes with fair skin, and I use the lightest shade of foundation (I think mine is Ivory or something). Basically most lip colors are ok except for the purples and brownish reds. I go for pinks, reds, fiery reds, and even some peachy colors.
My blush is more of a light pink/peachy color. I use brown eyeliner and mascara. I avoid using black because it is so dark and makes my eyes look too unatural. I think fair skin people can use most shades of eyeshadow depending on the look you are going for...but usually I use earth tones, greens, sometimes pinks or light purples..
I've heard that you aren't suppose to match your lipstick/eyeshadow with your clothing...
Use pale colors to highlight your natural coloring. Pale pink lip-gloss and blush, light brown eyeshadow. If your are young, you probably don't need foundation in the daytime.
you could go to mac. and itll stay on and not smudge it wont make you looked all caky either...well if u apply it right.
Your foundation should be the color of your skin but maybe LITTLE darker...to add colo.
then try a darker pink ((not too bright)) or a bronzer around your face to darken your complexion and define your face shape....
then use a shadestick to make sure you can really see your eyeshadow....you could use mroe nautral lookin eyeshadows like maybe a gold in the lid and a darker brown or violet in the crease...then line the top of your eyelashes with black eyeliner or the inner parts of your eyes....and
try rimmel lengthening mascara...
then you could use a light pink plumping limpgloss from mac...they only have one plumping one...
use a natural color foundation, pink eyeshadow for brown eyes, blue eyeshadow for blue eyes, a light pink blush, and light pink lipgloss.
Pinky tones, use blush to help lift your skin or a light shade of bronzer in the summer. If you want to try not to be so pale then use foundation a shade or two darker and mix some in with your normal foundation, to make you slightly warmer toned and hopefully not too orange! Just make sure you blend at the edges of your face!! As for eyeshadow it depends on your eyes and hair colour, and how brave you want to be! This program should help,
http://www.handbag.com/beauty/makeup/mak鈥?/a>
Good Luck!
I'd go with a medium foundation (powder) then a purplish-brownish color for the blush. For the eyeshadow a gold. and a very, very glossy pinkish-redish lip gloss.
you need to match foundation to your skin or wear none at all
you want a pale pink blush %26amp; brown / gold eyeshadow
clear gloss
well what color hair and eyes do you have? and do me a favor look at your wrist and tell me what color do your veins appear to be more of a blue or green
ummm try a dark colur of fondation not to dark but mid- line dark and for blush use dark hot pink and for eyeshadow nice soft lovely pink lipgloss u should wear mid-pink!!
if you want More glam try to line your lid with grey don't wear foundation u don't need it wears green Gray colours on lids and clear berry colours on lips same with cheeks if you want more glam line lids top and bottom with grey or silver liner xx
Your foundation should be one of the lightest shades they sell. Either an Ivory or a pale Ivory. Blush will depend on you...try both pinks and peaches and see what looks better. I'd stay away from eyeshadow being so pale...it will stick out like a sore thumb even if applied lightly. If you must, use earth tones like light browns. I'd go for a light brown/medium brown eye liner instead which will highlight and ennunciate your eyes better along with a brown/black mascara. As far as lipgloss....match the blush..either pinks/mauves or peaches.
Don't!
If you're that pale, dress in black all the time and don't wear make-up at all. ^_^
Someone sugeested dark foundation - DON'T! Always use the same colour as your skin. I'm pale too and it can be very difficult to find make up that's not too dark. Some companies can cutom blend a shade for you. Too much colour can look odd on pale skin. Unless you want a dramatic, look stick to neutrals.
go with the pinks and stuff, look at nicole kidman shes very pale and looks sooo pretty with all of her pink. i would go somewhere where you can see the foundation on cuz you really have to see it on if you dont want a make up line, then you look like your wearing a mask lol
Hi,
I think an 'ivory' foundation and a light bronzer perhaps, applied to the cheek bones and forehead where you would naturally catch the sun on your face. This will give you a natural glow. Use a lip tint such as Benetint rather than a lipgloss to make it look natural. For shine just put some vaseline over the top. Try sweeping the bronzer over your eyelids because an eyeshadow colour would depend on your eye colour.
Oh and line your eyes to make them stand out. Black may look to bold in contrast, try a brown and brown mascara.

rob_jonda@yahoo.comI have a pale complexion, like white white.

What colour foundation is this?
i think it may be ivory but isnt ivory for pink undertones? just wondering...also what are some good foundation brands?
http://www.imagecows.com/uploads/8bd9-ra鈥?/a> %26lt;--like that.What colour foundation is this?
if you want to look oriental in complexion go to a spray on tanning booth and get the color sprayed on that you want, but i think your ambition is going to spoil your youthful years, being ambitious in its self is not bad but being obssed is..What colour foundation is this?
no i use ivory in covergirl liquid foundation and it turns like that, even though i have a shade darker skin tone. and it still works well.
you can also try to find a similar one called porcelin
olive undertone =D depends on how much coverage you want on you're face. If you want light coverage get maybelline pure makeup foundation and concealer if you want heavier get makeup forever hd foundation or clinique foundation.
I have a similiar tone. I use MAC studio fix fluid in NC25, but suggest that this is a shade lighter, try NC20. This has more of a cool yellow undertone.

The colour of my Revlon Custom Creations Foundation isn't changing?
When I turn the dial to 1 the foundation is light, and then I turn it to 5 and it still comes out light and LOADS comes out at once? Does the foundation take a few pumps to come out in the correct colour? The colour of my Revlon Custom Creations Foundation isn't changing?
yes, because if you turn it after you pumped it, then some of the light color is still stuck in the pumping tube thing and it takes a few pumps to get it out and get the darker one in. also, dont turn it that drastically. maybe 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, no just 1-5 all of a sudden.
hope i helped [:

Does anyone know of a good ivory coloured foundation for very pale skin?
I bought one at a chemist several years ago, and it was then discontinued. Can't remember the brand, but if anyone can tell me of a lovely ivory coloured foundation for very pale skin that was very good I would be much appreciated.Does anyone know of a good ivory coloured foundation for very pale skin?

Dream Matte Mousse Ivory by Maybelline New York
I use Bobbi Brown and it's the best for all skin types, there is a wide variety of shades more than usual.
If you go to a Dillard's or Bloomingdale's go by their make-up counter and they will fine the best one for your skintone.
Hey im really pale and i use AVON ideal shade matte mousse foundation,
its really nice and has a lovely texture x

Elizabeth Arden flawless finish foundation foundation is great lovely to apply, lasts all day and comes in Ivory which I wear as I have very pale skin! You can buy this for about 拢10 from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk
Estee Lauder or Bobby Brown do good range of foundations.
Matte moose. It covers everything and blends well!

I'm the same as you, I use MAC but always buy it from duty free because its so much cheaper. I've just had a look on the label but afraid its rubbed off.
MAC is brilliant stuff and lasts for ages and covers really lightly so you don't get ';THE LINE';.
All the best getting a nice cover!
I have very pale skin, I'm almost see-through!!
I used to use maybelline Dream Matt Mousse in Invory but now I use Dainty Doll (Nicola from Girls Aloud's range of make up designed for pale girlies!). There is such a wide range of colours available, all within the pale spectrum so you have a great chance of finding the ideal colour. Sold through www.asos.com
Dainty Doll on asos.com
Nichola from girls aloud helped create it or fronts it
I like Bisque by Jane Iredale makeup. it is a true mineral makeup, no nasty things added to make you break out. it is a physical sunblock because of the minerals (doesn't sink into your skin) of spf 25 and pretty much waterproof, so you can wear it to the beach and not burn either. They have a few pale shades. you can buy the loose powder or the pressed powder. If you find it very hard to match you shade perfectly, you can buy 2 different loose powder ones to mix. they are about $50 - 65 but I find they last almost the whole year.
I have really pale skin and use Revlon colourstay in buff. Have used it for years, it stays put all day and does not rub off.
Clinique - i have the same type of skin. They are very helpful and have so many different shades. I get the one called 'Ivory'
Good luck x

Try Mary Kay ivory1 mineral foundation...it is wonderful and really works to even out your skin tone...just beware the crazy Mary Kay ladies
Hi!
My skin is very, very pale and I often find that most foundations are too dark.
I have used foundations from both Mac and Estee Lauder that are good, but it would depend on what coverage you like.
The best shades from Mac are NW15 and NC15 but it would be best to go to a MAC counter so they can colour match it to your skin, as you may have cool or warm undertones to your skin.
I have also used Estee Lauder Double Wear make up in Shell.
Also, Revlon have just released a new foundation called 'Revlon Beyond Natural' which is a white foundation that transforms to your exact skintone when you put it on, so this might be a good idea.
Finally, Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud launched a make up range for very pall girls which comes in 3 shade - white, ivory and porcelain and you can buy this on www.asos.com.
Hope this helps and good luck finding a foundation which you like xx
Covergirl. I'm a makeup artist and snob. But covergirl foundation lasts all day and its cheap! Just moisturize underneath and apply it by tapping with your fingers to mimic your skins natural texture. No need to look for fancy and pricey brands. Covergirl gets the job done.

What foundation colour is suitable for asian/indian skin?
i can never find the right colour. help pleaseWhat foundation colour is suitable for asian/indian skin?
no one can tell you the exact colour as even if you have asian/indian skin, the colours vary from person to person.
The best thing to do is to go a MAC counter for example, %26amp; ask them to find the right shade for you. they'll test them on your skin. %26amp; even give you a sample to try b4 you buy if u ask them.
Otherwise, on bare skin, put some on your jawbone, if the colour blendss in it's your colour, if it shows then is the wrong colour.
What foundation colour is suitable for asian/indian skin?
Go to a major department store or even a MAC store, a place that has several make-up counters. There you can try several colors and someone to help.
My Indian friend has one by Sephora, so maybe try their stuff. Apparently MAC do foundations to suit any skin tone, but I don't know about it really...
Good luck.bacteria

Has anyone tried the new Revlon Colour Stay Mineral Foundation?
I have noticed that Revlon have a new mineral colour stay foundation. I am very keen to try it but would like some opinions on those who have used it already. Has anyone tried the new Revlon Colour Stay Mineral Foundation?
I use it and I'm pretty happy with it. I was a little hesitant to switch from a liquid foundation to a mineral foundation, but I'm really glad I made the move. My skins a lot healthier and Revlon has a shade that suits my skin tone which is more that I can say about A LOT of brands!!!!!!!!Has anyone tried the new Revlon Colour Stay Mineral Foundation?
Hi, I just bought this same foundation about 2 hrs back and tried it on. I put it on a little generously and I don't think it does anything for me. If you are looking for a sheer/radiant look to your face from foundation this is not your solution! Don't try this if you have dry skin - I had to put on a little moisturizer before I applied this. Im pretty sure there are better foundations you can try.
Are you using the powder kind?I tried it. In order to use this product, it is best to cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize. Then wait about twenty minutes before applying.
It's a pretty good product, but I still prefer using a liquid and topping it off with powder. I cant get used to just the mineral powder by itself.
It is much cheaper than other mineral products. Might be worth a try. Don't use it if your skin is super dry.
eh, i think it feels like plastic personally.

Its ok, pretty much what you would expect. I would recommend it, but there are definitely better products out there.
I haven't tried it,but it's got to be better than those seen on tv full of fillers! I go with Avon %26amp; smokymountainminerals.com, for purity %26amp; price value.
Yeah, it's great! U Need to try it!
it aint that good
Which brand foundation/concealer has the largest colour range?
For Indian skin tone. Most foundations are pinkish while I'm brown with yellowish tones.
And I'm asking for common, well known drug store/pharmacy brands only please.Which brand foundation/concealer has the largest colour range?
Try Loreal,my Indian friends use it and they look hot in it.They got really rich golden brown colors! And there's different undertones(warm and cool) so that it fits you even better.Which brand foundation/concealer has the largest colour range?
x[mac or iman cosmetics]x
Try MAC, foundations come in a very large range of color, if you have yellow undertones try using a NC 30 for medium or NC 35, NC37 and so on, depending on how dark your skin is...the larger the number the darker the shade, but as long as you look for NC's it is suitable for a yellow undertone. Also try the different formulas if you are looking for a lot of coverage try studio tech foundation, a creamy, long wear formula, for lighter coverage, try MAC Select Foundation and if your skin tends to shine, then try studio fix, a powder foundation with great coverage.
Avon has many different colors and choices for types of foundation. They also have samples that you can try if you ask your rep to get them so you know what is the right one for you. Feel free to send me a message if you have anymore questions
Try MAC makeup company. They have LOTS of colors that help compliment a lot of different skin tones. If you cannot find your tone there PLEASE I ENCOURAGE you to go to Sephora or other big makeup chain and get a consultation. The experts are perfect at finding the brand and color that is best for you!

L'Oreal True Match has dozens of colors and they come in warm, neutral or cool tones. They are supposedly formulated to blend into any skin tone seamlessly-- I don't know about that, but I've had really good luck with the range. This foundation is pretty easy to find anywhere that sells makeup and it usually goes for around $8 a bottle.
Even though I have pinkish undertones, I think yellow-toned foundation is so much more flattering so I always select the colors with warmer undertones.
Another nice thing about the line is that they also make True Match powders, concealers and blushes formulated for different skin tones, that work really well in combination with the foundation.
Good luck!

Why can i never find the right foundation colour?
its always too orange or too dark
i bought some medium tinted moisturiser
there was light medium dark
and it was too dark
im not really pale
or even pale at all
im kind of
some people say i look spanish
but the medium is always too dark
but the pale is too pale
how do i tell which one will suit me?Why can i never find the right foundation colour?
My advise is to get both %26amp; mix them. Create the perfect shade. Why can i never find the right foundation colour?
Try it out first before you buy it. And when you test it out do it on your face not your hand, because it can be two different colors. If you're using liquid foundation try mineral. It may be easier to find a good shade. Or try using different brands.
well you're suppose to try it on first, it's really hard to just guess
and if the foundation blends in, that's the color you want ;]bacteria

Try MAC studio tech foundation NC40 or NC42 should be dark enough for you. Are you a Yellow undertone or a Pink undertone? NC is for Yellow or do NW for Pink.Hope that helps :)I am dark skinned and am looking for the right colour of foundation.?
Go to your MAC counter/ store. They make some really nice, dark foundations, and a mua will help you find the perfect shade. I also ude Makeup Forever on some clients, you can get that at Sephora. You may also want to try Perscriptives, as they can custom blend (they can get pricy though) Hope this helps!
I would look into Physicians Formula. I have beige skin and its so hard for me to find the right foundation color. My sister told me about this makeup company and its amazing how well it suits my skin. I prefer the beauty spiral.

How can I choose the right foundation for my skin colour?
Choosing the right foundation for your skin is harder than it seems. You should probably stock up on different coloured foundations as the seasons go by, or as your skin changes. One day you might wake up prim and perfect and the next you might look like you caught some fatal disease overnight.
Yellow-based foundations will look more natural on all of our skin, whether you're fair or dark. Pink is good for the cheeks and the lips, but it doesn't look quite as natural.
Sometimes to get the right foundation, you have to mix two or three together. That's absolutely fine, and don't be shy to experiment with it. If your foundation is too dark, try mixing it with a foundation that's about 2 shades lighter than it, and if your foundation is too light, then maybe try putting on some bronzer with it. Some foundations come packaged with more than one colour which is useful.
Also, when searching for your foundation, find one that comes with an SPF rating, moisturiser, alpha-hydroxy acids, and copper. This is like everything packed into one.
Also, try to make sure that you're able to test the foundation before you purchase it.How can I choose the right foundation for my skin colour?

umm, maybeline has this foundation thing, one for every skin type. fair tan and even dark. i think u would be able to find one to suit your skin type becuase i know i have found so many to suit people i know.
I would say that you should go into a shop like The Body Shop, or somewhere where there's a person on hand to talk you through the foundations. They can then help you decide what colour is best suited for your skin. I done it and my foundation looks great! Hope that helps .
either try it on or get somebody at a makeup color to pick your shade.. you should have 2 shades one for summer/spring and one for fall/winter..
